As our project team prepares for phase two of the North Quincy Cable Project, we wanted to check in with an update.

This week you can expect to see continued activity from our contractors at various locations along the project route, starting on Newport Avenue. As a reminder this activity includes test pit excavation which is necessary to gather more detailed information about existing underground utilities. This work will continue intermittently over the next few weeks. For a closer look at the project route, click here to view our online map.

While all of the abovementioned work is taking place, we kindly ask drivers and those on foot to exercise caution when approaching these active work areas to minimize risks to personal safety, and to avoid any interference with construction. Please know that police details will be on hand to facilitate vehicle and pedestrian traffic management.
