In the first part if the week, you can expect to see our contractors at work on Newport Avenue as they clean past work areas in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday. No work is scheduled Wednesday to Friday in observance of the holiday.

Please note that contractors are tentatively scheduled to complete the final pave of Morrison Street next week. We look forward to providing a specific date as soon as it becomes available.

As a reminder, approved work hours continue to be 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday. If you are driving or walking in the area, please remain mindful of lane shifts, posted traffic signage, and the direction of police details.

Please know that construction is scheduled to minimize the impact on traffic and everyday life; sections of your street will likely only be impacted by the construction for weeks—not years. That said, we understand that construction doesn’t always feel “short-term” when it’s in front of your home or business. As work begins in your area, we will continue to work to mitigate inconveniences to the greatest extent feasible.
