Starting the week of March 16, you can expect to see contractor activity on various sections of Newport Avenue and Newport Avenue Extension as we work to complete sidewalk and road restoration between Beale Street and Heritage Drive. As construction gets underway, intermittent work areas may be set up while contractors focus on winter cleanup and curb installation ahead of final paving and sidewalk work.

As always, we ask that drivers and pedestrians be mindful of lane shifts, posted traffic signage, and the direction of police details stationed around the work zone.
