Contractor activity will continue into May along Newport Avenue and Newport Avenue Extension as sidewalk and roadway restoration is completed between Beale Street and Heritage Drive. In addition, crews will begin preparing for roadway repaving along this corridor during the first half of May. More specific schedule information for the repaving operation will be shared as it becomes available. We look forward to your patience and cooperation as we complete this final stage of road restoration for our project.

For your safety, please remain attentive to lane shifts, posted traffic signage, and the direction of police details within and around the work zone.
