Roadway Restoration Update

Contractor activity will continue this week on Newport Avenue, Newport Avenue Extension and Furnace Brook Parkway. In addition, crews will begin preparing for roadway repaving by adjusting utility castings on Newport Avenue. We expect final paving of Newport Avenue to in late June.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we move into the final phase of roadway restoration for this project.

For your safety, please remain alert to lane shifts, posted traffic signage, and the direction of police details within and around the work zone.

Two-Week Look Ahead

• Casting adjustments, as needed (Newport Avenue)
• Paving (Newport Avenue)
• Sidewalk and curb installation (Newport Avenue Extension)
• Final sidewalk installation (Furnace Brook Parkway)
