Roadway Restoration Update

We wanted to provide an update regarding the upcoming final paving of Newport Avenue between Beale Street and Lillian Road.

Contractors are currently scheduled to begin milling operations on August 31 and September 1. Following completion of the milling work, paving operations are scheduled to take place from September 2 through September 4.

During this work, you may notice intermittent contractor activity, lane shifts and other temporary impacts within the work zone. Please remain alert to posted traffic signage and the direction of police details in and around the area.
