Our road restoration work on Newport Avenue Extension continues as crews work to complete sidewalk repairs on the street. As we move in to May, contractors will prepare for road paving on Newport Avenue and Newport Avenue Extension by adjusting existing utility castings in the road.

Barring inclement weather or unforeseen issues, we expect the that Newport Avenue and Newport Avenue Extension to be milled during the week of May 18. Final paving is expected to be complete during the first week of June.

As always, we ask that drivers and pedestrians be mindful of lane shifts, posted traffic signage, and the direction of police details stationed around the work zone.
