As you’re likely aware the North Quincy Cable Project is the replacement of the115-kV underground electric transmission cable system located between National Grid’s North Quincy Substation and National Grid’s Field Street Substation. Originally installed in 1973, the existing cables are nearing the end of their service life and need to be replaced.
